Anne Hathaway has learned a valuable lesson about dating Italian businessmen that are involved in a serious federal investigation. Apparently when the FBI took Anne’s ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, into custody they also seized most of his possessions searching for evidence. The found more than they bargained for when it came to Anne. Apparently personal diaries and nude photos were stored with Raffaello’s important documents.
Anne was aware the photos existed so they weren’t a surprise, but she didn’t know that the FBI had possession of them along with her diaries until she tried to get Raffaell’s brother to retrieve the items for her. Her belonging were seized by the FBI back in June, but their existence only became public knowledge this week.

Three days after being released from the hospital, DJ AM (a.k.a. Adam Goldstein) attended the funeral for Chris Baker. Baker, one of the four victims from September 20’s crash, was Travis Barker’s close friend and assistant.
Although Goldstein’s burns were mostly covered, injuries to his neck were still visible underneath his green polo. (The attendees were asked to wear Chris’ favorite color to Monday’s service.)
Travis, who was also released from the Georgia hospital yesterday, was unfortunately not able to pay his respects his person. The former Blink-182 drummer, who now (understandably) refuses to fly, is currently en route back to LA via a bus.

All is not going that well on The View. Elizabeth Hasselbeck, he only political conservative on the panel, is fed up with her very liberal co-hots Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar over the Presidential election.
After a well publicized spat with former co-host Rosie O’Donnell that often created an uncomfortable show to watch and an incident earlier this year where Hasselbeck broke down over the use of the N-word it is easy to see why she isn’t happy. She is the easy target for the more established and outspoken members of panel and Barbara Walters actually intervened an called for a cooling off meeting. Rumors that Hasselbeck might leave the show are heating up and with the election about to really heat up with the current financial crisis and upcoming debates.

Pundits and political professionals have spent the last several months repeatedly asking the same question: is America ready to be led by someone who is outside the accepted status quo? In other words, could we have a non-white President? It’s been one of the hottest topics of the year, and it gave Barack Obama a lot of attention with the press. That is, until McCain pulled his trump card.
Otherwise known as Sarah Palin. Attractive, conservative, Yankee-ish and much, much younger than McCain, Palin has helped to change the feel of the entire campaign. Could she change the entire election? The media has been asking, for several months, if America is really ready to be led by a black man. Now, there’s another big question on the table. Is the world ready for the likes of Sarah Palin – that self-styled bulldog-in-lipstick-hockey-mom who can’t keep her Yahoo business private and somehow found herself on the nation’s biggest political stage?
Not that it matters much, but Matt Damon doesn’t seem to think so.
